Its been said time and again that you can’t eat gold or silver in an economic collapse situation. Thats true, but you also can’t carry a cow in your pocket or corn, wheat etc. When the dollar collapses people will not stop using currency, they will just replace what they used to use with gold or silver. Why? Because gold and silver have always been money. I am not saying you should not have emergency food reserves. What I am saying is you have to have a balance in your preparations. Having a years supply of food is great. But what if your forced to move? Gold and silver in your pocket will be a great advantage. Especially in an economic collapse.
