www.noreenskitchen.com Interested in checking out my cookbook? Noreen’s Kitchen Holiday Helper http Greetings! I pulled a giant zucchini out of the garden! Last week we had quite a bit of rain and the squash are going crazy. I usually like to get to them before they get too, too big, but this one was hiding, so it’s going to be turned into a moist chocolate cake. This cake recipe is inspired by Misty of mistyshooter223. She is one amazing woman and she did a zucchini brownie recipe about a year ago. I love this recipe. I have tweaked it a bit to suit my family and this is what I am sharing with you today! I hope that you will give this one a try. I know you will love it! Happy Eating!
I just had to let you know that I made this the other day and it was fantastic! It didn’t last a whole day in my house, lol. Thanks so much for sharing

yes it sure? does
this cake is awesome, my mom has made this, minus the? nuts, ever since i was a kid… i bet the nuts is yummmm with it too!!
I was behind the curve in the salt revolution and I just got hooked on sea salt when the fukishima thing went down.. my point is that I’ve been doing food storage a long time and I have a couple hundred pounds of regular old table salt and I’d like to use it but it seems like my YouTube family never uses plain old iodized? table salt and at the risk of sounding very dumb… why? I haven’t been able to find pink salt in my area and hate ordering anything online with my bank card. Thanks
Darn it Noreen – I have to wait until later this summer to make this because our growing season is later than yours – no zukes yet! That made my mouth water!! I just love your little “talking kitty” – mine does? the same thing – so much personality! Thanks for sharing this recipe – I now remember seeing Misty do it, but had forgotten…can’t wait to try it now! (((HUGS SISTER)))
I? love when you show the animals!!
I really? want to try this the nuts make a great addition I think I might add a few cherries as well
Oh, had a question? too. Does this freeze well?
Ohhhhh this? looks like a keeper! Hubby is going to love this! Thanks!
why do you use mini chocolate chips and not regular sized?
?
The “sand patties at? the beach” cracked me up. I almost choked on my nachos! lol
Looking forward to zuccs so we can make cake!

that is the? oddest mixture? i’ve ever heard of! zucchini and chocolate? who would have thought lol
Wow does that look good!?
Lol, if I? don’t pre-cut my cakes, my kids will have them torn apart
i watch lots of cooking? vids on Youtube and you are about the only one that I ever see actually scrape the mixing bowl properly…lol.
That cake looks so good Noreen!!!! I am def. gonna try this? one!! Your cat is a hoot! So funny! Blessings~
where does? all your food go?? you make so much food
and anytime we mke dessert at my house it lastes a week
Thanks! Never knew it was the cocoa butter. ?
the cake looks so really good ty!! Your animals have so much personality am partial to cats !! Also gotta pat you? on the back you have the cleanest kitchen !!
I’ve? never heard of this …I lobe chocolate cake and zucchini though! I thumbs up this just cause hearing your’s and rick’s jokes and personalities made me smile! You guys are awesome!
Thanks so much for the info. It helps? to know that about the cocoa butter vs cocoa powder.
Much appreciated.
She did not have any cake. Because it had chocolate chips and nuts in it.? If I had left those out I would have no problem sharing a taste of this cake with my dogs. The problem lies in the cocoa butter. It is deadly to dogs. If you make a cake with only cocoa, it is safe to give to them because it lacks the deadly cocoa butter.
Just curious, at the end it sounded like you were going to feed your dog the cake but I’ve always heard? chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats. Have you heard otherwise?
